What our 2004 Campers had to say...

Our 2004 summer camps were a rousing success, and we had many participants.

We asked our campers what they liked most about the vaulting camp experience.

Here's what they said:

I liked—

Being on the horse. The feeling of the movement of the horse. The food. Splashing Isobel in the water balloon fight. Doing the team things because you feel safe, and get to go high. Team buliding games (trusting). Drawing at the end of lunch.      —Taylor

The team kür, because you worked together. The food because it was tasty. I liked improving my splits, because my mom will give me cash. I like getting on the horse because you get to work. The water fight was refreshing.     —Jackie

I like camp because it is fun and interactive. I also liked that you can have fun and help your body at the same time. The food was wonderful and delicions. Plus the water fight was a good contrast to conditioning.     —Connor

Fun (a lot!). The food was great. You build some muscle. The team stuff was fun because you get to work with other people. I ride horses and I had some fear with them and now I am over with those fears. The teambuilding work was really fun and funny. The water balloon fight was fun, but didn't last long.     —Ryah

Fun (everything!). I learned a lot to help me vault better. It was great to finally canter on the horse. The team kür was exciting. Good food (yum!). The water balloon fight cooled us off and was fun getting people soaked. Team building games really helped build teamwork and was waaaaaaay fun!     —Elaine

We had so much fun getting to know each other and trying new things! We also learned how to control our own arms, legs, and core. Being on the horse and feeling her canter while moving in and out of positions gets easier and builds more confidence each time it is done!     —Anna
